First of all, I personally am super-mega ultra happy to get this result. Now I can officially turn into a professional blogging guru and brag about my 'Page Rank Success' . Nah, just kidding. But seriously, it's pretty amazing to see many blogging guru getting less page rank than me or same as me! I am currently super hiped about all the page rank stuff. Previously I got page rank 2 and went to 0 again after buying the new domain name tipsontricks. And I just jumped into page rank 4. Best miracle ever! Ok, ok, I will tell exactly how I got this amazing page rank of 4.

Normally this is how you suppose to improve your page rank:

1. Optimize everything, but not too much (mr. panda)
2. Write guest post for traffic + backlinks
3. Write guest post for traffic + backlinks
4. Write guest post for traffic + backlinks

6. Comment on do-follow blog

How I got page rank 4:

1. Didn't care about page rank
2. Still unsure why Google gave me page rank 4
3. Wrote only 2 guest post but on page rank 0 blog
4. Wrote whatever I wanted in the blog, that interest me personally, rather than the viewer
5. Thought of this as a hobby blog, not a business  [well, still tried to make money, failed :( ]

So, yeah, do everything I do, and you can expect a miracle. I am sorry for not amaze you with all the work I have done for what I got. But overall, I guess Google likes my site pretty well :)

I have been blogging in this blog for a while. I was previousy using blogger subdomain for my blog since I was still a newb in blogs  sphere. • Go to Blogger Account
• Select Template -> Edit HTML [click Proceed] 
• Find the code like below [Find easily using Crtl+F]
• Or simply find <H3

What are Broken Links?

5. Now you will see a list of broken links in your whole blog. 

That links are pointing to a page that no longer exists. After clicking that links you will see a 404 error page. Now you have to redirect all those links to the related post links which are working. If you do not have any related post, then you can redirect the links to your blog's homepage to save your Page Rank.

Redirect Broken Links

In this step, I will teach you how to redirect these links to the related post or your homepage. I will redirect the following broken link:

to the related post link which is working:

http://freshtips.blogspot.com/2011/10/how-to-create-contact-me-page-in.html

It will pass the page rank juice to the redirected page. So follow the steps to successfully redirect the broken link to a working one.

1. In the broken links list, click the broken link which you want to redirect.
2. Now the full link will appear. All the pages containing that broken link will also appear under the "Linked From" tab. You can delete the links from the pages which contains that broken link or you can also redirect them to the related post. I recommend you to redirect.

3. Now copy the full link of the deleted post next to URL. Also go to that link and make sure that it is broken link.
4. Now go to Blogger Dashboard >> Settings >> Search Preferences (In New Blogger Interface).
5. Click edit next to Custom Redirect.
6. Inside the From box, paste the broken link. for example if  http://freshtips.blogspot.com/2011/03/make-contact-form-for-blogger.html is the full broken link address, so you have to paste /2011/03/make-contact-form-for-blogger.html in the From box.
7. Inside the To box, paste the new related post link where you want to redirect. for example if you want the broken link to be redirected to http://freshtips.blogspot.com/2011/10/how-to-create-contact-me-page-in.html, then you have to paste /2011/10/how-to-create-contact-me-page-in.html in the To box. Then click Save link and then click Save changes button.

8. Now your links is successfully redirect to the new post. If you will visit the following link which was broken, it will take you straight to the new post link:

http://freshtips.blogspot.com/2011/03/make-contact-form-for-blogger.html

9. After doing this change, you have to wait many days (according to your site rankings) for the not found error to be removed from your webmaster tool.
