Google in the internet business: Google Fiber

Google have a ad habit of experimenting with everything and it's been doing quit well so far. Now Google has started to set their foot on internet business. Since it is google, as usual it's 100 time better than the average one. Google Fiber might be the next big buisseness on internet providing world. They will be serving 1000 mb/s or almost a gigaite speed of internet connection and this is 100 time faster than average internet providers around. They are also releasing an free forever with 7 year granted version with $300 one time charge home/office base internet. Even with all the ahh-woo parts there is still a nooo... part to the story. Google Fiber, the what

Google fiber is the google's new experiment with internet providing business with 100 times faster internet connection. Since it's network based, you can run all your devices with one connection. This will only be available in US and there are three different plans and pricing to choose from.

• Gigabit + Tv

It comes with network box, TV box and storage box as well as  1TB of Google drive space. This pan cost $120 month. Considering the speed and opportunity, I would say it's a fair prize and still competitive with other providers. 

• Gigabit internet

With gigabit of speed which comes only with a network box costs you $70/month. You can use it from anywhere in your home with any device you wish. No installation costs included.

• Free internet

This is a pretty attractive offer. You will only have to pay one time $300 for installation or $25 over 12 months and after that it's forever free. They will provide you 7 year grantee as well. However this is not the ultra fast internet and just regular 1 mb/s internet.

Google Fiber, the how

There's a catch however to this awesome offers. You can't get them unless your neighborhood and city preregister the highest int the country. They are starting with one city and hopefully in the future, we can all take. Here's what you need to do to get Google fiber at your home and city.

Firefox new and cool update changes

If you have updated Firefox to Firefox 14.0.1 then you should notice some changes. This was the final change that was needed from Firefox to beat chrome from my top list. This post is about the news update and a cool hidden feature of the new update from Firefox you should check.


First of all Firefox finally added the auto-fill / auto-search from the address bar just like chrome. It has also cleaned up the forward and backward button and seems to have added a nice glow effect to the bar. When you are on the top link, the forward button is hidden. This was the only thing that was getting away with competition with chrome from my user experience. I really love this new feature and I think it will save some time and energy :P

For the cool thing I found out today is 3D vision of a website that you can see with Firefox. This was made and implanted for developers benefit but it just a cool feature to normal user to play around as well. Here's how you go 3d in Firefox:

1. Right click > Inspect Element
2. Click on 3D View from bottom right
3. You have your 3D page :) That should look something like this:

Before I start, by everything I didn't mean EVERYTHING. This is a link back and summery to the information and rumors that already exists online about Microsoft Surface. So let's get started.  First of all the looks, check out the high-res images I downloaded from surface website.

Microsoft surface basic info

There will be two types of Microsoft surface, one for regular and one with pro and bilt in features to allow powerful programs like Photoshop to run. How much will surface cost?

So far there is no announcement on this. But many websites and blogs are publishing their opinion of rumors on this. Yesterday According to pc magazine "the Surface will price the Pro-based Surface above $799, while the Windows RT-based model will be more than $599." on one of the rumor article. But there have been different opinions on this on different articles online. Just like windows 8 it is still unknown when they will be releasing this product. Most likely after the release of windows 8. It seems to have cought a very good amount of attention and certainly will be a great competitors to other tablet and especially the Ipad. But the main discussion around this is still the cost.

New Facebook Feature: Easy Smiley

Similes are always useful on short chat. After Google plus now Facebook as well added a simple little icon to use smiley directly from the chat interface. To me the minor Facebook update looks similar to Google+ for some reason but who am I to say when Google + followed Faacebooks path. But here you go a nice feature by faceook where you don't have to worry about remembering all that characters, just a quick update :)

Google PageRank Update: May 2012, TripsOnTricks Got PR 2

Today we all are so happy that google recently updated all blogs pagerank on 3 May 2012. This is 2nd google page rank update after 6 FEB Update. It is confirmed we are not sure it is Major page rank update or not.

 We all are very happy that TripsonTricks got Page rank 2 in just few months and most of internal pages like guest posts are ranked to Pr 1. We hope in next update we will archive Page rank 4 or 5.

Bloggers new interface is ready to be defult

If you have been used blogger recently you already know the new blogger interface was around quit a long time. Many people Liked it's cool new fresh look including me. Google decided to make it default by April. There is a option that will be visible on your blogger dashboard. Once you click upgrade you will be unable to go back to old dashboard. If it only shows you new changed dashboard but not the additional options. Click "Try the update blogger interface" button and it should change everything.

Windows 8 for real users

Microsoft windows 8 is coming out soon. Every single time Microsoft brings something new it brings opposite expressions for users as they expect.As Microsoft is very well known for more bugs with new versions. But I think windows 7 was a success after vista disaster.
But I am not sure if changing the main interface will help much. Microsoft consumer preview came out few days ago which you can try out on your computer but from normal users the news common disappointment is the same. They are still trying to fix the bug and make it 'user friendly' and hopefully the result will be a good one.
