Inventing cool RSS buttons

RSS stands for rich site summary. Via it your blog post can be delivered right to your visitors email. So it plays a vital role to distribute the message of your posts world wide. But many of us don’t know how we add these buttons. We might see some RSS pictures like these. But due to the lack of knowledge we will keep only text which makes our blog look hazy.

So to tackle with this problem today I will teach you the simplified way for inventing cool RSS buttons. Let’s start:-
    1.    Getting the RSS icon
You can get hundreds of RSS icons in internet. Search until you get the RSS icon of your wish. Remember you can choose any RSS icon that fits and suits with your site.
    2.    Uploading it to internet
After you get the icon, download it and upload it to free image hosting sites like flickr.com, picasaweb.google.com, photobucket.com, etc. Then get the direct link of that image. Direct link are those links that ends with “.jpg”, “.png”, etc. extensions.
    3.    Getting the code
After you get the icons direct link, now it will be able to be shown in your site. But you have to add the following code;

<a href="http://bloggingsentral.blogspot.com/atom.xml" title="Receive Free Updates"><img src=" https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjwULK18dsSo5kXA41KJhmPqILqIvnuiiYT02C7I0ZQCZZ1b3Fzd2ZKlWobxBjfZLhnfbnE_clc7BAcCDugFPgaN3iFmQdLDuO-DqtP1JgaxbYdXRzM5ZsSECFkUGacldh3j_ZDaFxTvrFd/s256/rss2.png" style="border:0"/>Subscribe to my feed</a>

Here you have to do the editing. I have kept my site information here. Just you have to do is;
    1.    Replace [bloggingsentral.blogspot.com] with your blog url.
    2.    Replace [https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjwULK18dsSo5kXA41KJhmPqILqIvnuiiYT02C7I0ZQCZZ1b3Fzd2ZKlWobxBjfZLhnfbnE_clc7BAcCDugFPgaN3iFmQdLDuO-DqtP1JgaxbYdXRzM5ZsSECFkUGacldh3j_ZDaFxTvrFd/s256/rss2.png] with your own rss icon URL.
    3.    If you are using Feed Burner you can replace[http://bloggingsentral.blogspot.com/atom.xml] with your own feed URL. And if you don’t have just edit the code above and follow the steps below.
    4.    Adding RSS buttons to Blog
   1.    Sign in with your Google account in blogger.com.
   2.    After signing in you will redirected to dashboard.
   3.    Go to design or layout.
   4.    In sidebar click “Add a Gadget” (You can keep you RSS button anywhere you wish,  but it is recommended that you keep in top most side bar place as visitor eye mostly remain there).
   5.    Scroll a bit down and you can see HTML/JavaScript. Click on that.
   6.    In the vacant box add the RSS HTML Code you just edited above.
Now your dream rss button comes true and you can view it by viewing your blogs sidebar. You may also notice your subscribers growing.
!!Enjoy!!
