Labels Actions Now In Multiple Posts At Once

Labels are the groups or categories where the blog posts are stored. Whenever a reader clicks on a label he gets every post under that label. While adding label you usually write a post and type in the label name in that very time and while deleting it you again go to edit that post and delete that label. For one post you can do like that. But what will you do if the number of posts is 50 or 100 or even more. But don’t worry; here is the solution for it. So let’s start:

1. Sign in to your blogger account.
2.  Be forwarded to dashboard> Edit Post.

Adding Label:

For adding a new label:

1.  Tick on the posts check box at left which you want to be added in your new label.
2. Click on “Label Action...” like the one circled above (In the picture) and click on “New Label…”
3. Enter the name of your new label and press OK.

    After doing this your new label will be created and the posts checked will belong to it.

      Removing Label:

For removing a label:

      1.     Click on the name of the label at left which you want to delete. The post under that label will appear.

      2.     Click on select all option just at the right side of “Labels Action…”(Dropdown menu)

      3.     Now click on that drop down menu. You will see more options. A bit down you will see remove label. Click on the label name which you want to delete just below Remove Label and your label will be deleted.

After doing this the old label not useful for you, will be deleted from the post which was earlier applied.

Renaming Label:

For renaming a label. (This is the combination of adding and removing labels)

      1.     Select the label (in the labels list) which you wish to rename. All the post under that label will be shown in the right.

      2.     Select all post in the option present in right side of that dropdown list.

      3.     Then click on Labels Action… and add the label which you wished.

Finally remove the old label which was to be renamed as per the instruction above.

Labels Actions In New Blogger Interface

This is also the same process as the one above. But some things are moved around. So read it thoroughly.

•  After you are on the dashboard, just click the gray icon like the circled below. Click on that icon (it looks like a sheet with lines) next to the blog which you want to edit the labels for. After you click on it all the post, posted on that blog will be shown.

• For filtering the list as per the specific label, choose a label by clicking All Labels drop down menu that lies on the top right corner of that page.

• If you want to add or remove a label then it can be simply done by clicking on the Label icon that lies on the left of the publish button.
