Human mind is greater than the sea and the world we currently know. Just a single look can’t satisfy him. Same thing happens with the template of the blogger. Just a single look for our blog life time, it’s embarrassing. By listening this mind becomes dull. We began to think that the template which we choose (the one provided by blogger) while constructing our blog for the first time is not nice with the others. We also try to use other templates by blogger but its layout cannot cross our limitation.
Now we desire to use a third party template which is editable and good looking rather than that of blogger. It’s what I am going to explain in this post. I will write here the way to change the blog template. Just follow the steps below;
1. Get your template
- The first thing to do is to find your blog template. There are tons of templates uploaded in internet and you can also find many blog template hosting sites.
- After you search and find a template of your choice, be sure to test it initially. You can check that template functions and layout as most of the site offers live demo of template.
- After your test if you like it than download it in your computer.
- This process is necessary because if your mind changes later or if you committed any mistake you can recover your previous template easily.
3. Uploading it to blogger
- Sign in to your blogger account.
- Be forwarded to design>edit html>Backup/Restore Template
- The click on Choose File and browse the template file which you downloaded.
- Finally click on upload.
4. If your new template doesn’t have some gadgets which your previous template had then blogger will ask you to save the old gadgets or not.
- If you want to save your template then click on keep widgets and if you don’t mind losing them then click on delete.
5. If no error occurs and if the template code is working then it will say “Your changes have been saved. View blog”.
6. To see your dream template click on view blog.
7. Enjoy your new template.
