It represents a site and inspire the user to predict what the site is really about. More over favicon helps to attract user mind too. So lets set our own favicon. CREATING THE FAVICON:
Before adding the favicon you should have it. If you want to use one of your image as favicon then be sure to re-size it and make it smaller (like 16*16 pixels). But if you wanna make a favicon of your wish then here are some sites: Try one of them.

After making (rendering) your favicon download it to your computer or any device (You are working in).
POINTS TO BE NOTED:
Before making favicon some points are to be noted. They are as follows;
- Your favicon should be of square shape. Its better to make it 16*16 pixel. If your favicon is not of that shape then resize it via paint (any other software) or http://www.icoconverter.com/.
- The best size of your favicon is 10 KB. If your's favicon is more than it then it might take longer time for loading.
- Some browsers do not support favicon with extensions .gif or others. So save it in .ico format.
UPLOADING THE FAVICON:
If you have completed the instruction above then it's time to upload it. Just some steps more;
- Go to Blogger In Draft.
- Click on the drop down menu of the blog whose favicon is to be kept or replaced.
- Click on layout and wait for it to load.
- Then in the layout click on Edit Text Of Favicon.
- Then click on Choose File and locate your favicon and select it.
- Then click on the orange Save button.
- Now your favicon is properly placed. You might not see it immediately or see the earlier one (if kept). It will begin to show after some time and maybe after few days.
